As part of a diversification programme in 2005, Bolster Construction travelled to many countries with a view to expanding the company internationally. Due to Poland’s location between East and West and the rapid growth in its property market, it was chosen as the ideal setting for future development by the Bolster Group. It was believed that a considerable investment would be required in order to establish the company abroad. At the same time, a local South Kilkenny developer, Ger Norris of Mastercraft Homes and Ger Norris Construction, had the same idea. It was decided to join forces and tackle Poland together. The combination of expertise and resources will ensure the success of this project.

Kinglet Sp. Zoo
Together, Bolster Construction and Ger Norris Construction formed Kinglet Sp. Zo.o, the Polish branch of the enterprise. The first acquisition of the new company was 405 acres of land close to Warsaw’s city centre. To date, 90 acres of land have been zoned for retail and commercial property on the main Warsaw to Gdansk motorway. We are currently in the process of rezoning the remaining 315 acres to create residential, town centre properties as well as commercial space. The result will be 12000 apartments, and a million square metres of commercial property. Planning permission has also been sought for a 1600 bedroom hotel with 45,000 square metres designated for a venue and exhibition centre.
In addition to this impressive development, Kinglet Sp. Zoo has purchased two city centre office blocks, which have been refurbished and rented out. Another city centre site is due to be converted into an eight-storey office block. Due to Kinglet’s increased activity, a sister company to Kinglet Sp. Zo.o is currently being planned. Check the website regularly for updates on this exciting venture.
